Description
Tompkins Industries 1405-08-08 hydraulic pipe swivel adapter — 1/2 in. female NPT (FIP) on each end, with one end mounted on a swivel nut so the line can be tightened into both ports without rotating the connected hose or tube. Standard steel construction in dash size -08 used to join two 1/2 in. female NPT ports on heavy-duty truck hydraulic plumbing, dump bodies, wet kits, and mobile equipment.

Applications
Use anywhere a 1/2 in. female NPT line needs to be coupled to another 1/2 in. female NPT port without rotating the connected hose or tube:

Use thread sealant rated for the working fluid on the fixed NPT end. The swivel end seats against an internal seal — do not over-tighten.
