Description
The PAI 180200 is a 12V fuel shutoff solenoid for Cummins 855-series engines (Big Cam I–IV, NTC, NTA855) that replaces Cummins 3035342 and Navistar 524022C91. Energizing the solenoid pulls the fuel valve open at the PT pump and de-energizing it shuts the engine down — the standard electric-shutdown setup on 855 trucks. Ships with the rectangular sealing ring needed for installation.
Signs You Need a New Fuel Shutoff Solenoid
- Engine will not shut off when the key is turned to OFF
- Engine cuts out, dies at idle, or stalls intermittently
- Hard-start or no-start condition with audible solenoid click but no pull-in
