This breakaway kit is intended for use when a larger 12V 10A battery system is required. The Zip cable keeps your cable off the ground and out of harm’s way while towing, providing a safer and more reliable connection. The 4′ cables are recommended for bumper pull trailers, while the 6′ cables are better suited for gooseneck or 5th wheel trailers. The ZIP meets or exceeds all DOT requirements.
