Description
PAI HKT-3403 input-shaft seal kit for TRW (Ross) TAS40, TAS55, TAS65, and TAS85 integral power steering gears used on Mack, Navistar, Volvo, and Freightliner heavy-duty trucks. The kit lets you reseal the steering-gear input shaft — the most common source of a slow power-steering leak above the gear box — without removing the box from the frame.

- Power steering fluid weeping or pooling on top of the steering gear
- Recurring loss of power-steering fluid with no obvious external leak elsewhere
- Wet or oil-stained input shaft / pitman shaft area at the gear box
