Description
Permatex 09128 is an 8 oz brush-top copper anti-seize lubricant for high-temperature thread-protection on exhaust manifolds, exhaust studs, oxygen sensors, spark plugs, brake hardware, lug nuts, and turbocharger fasteners. Micro-fine copper flakes in a semi-synthetic grease carrier prevent galling, seizing, and corrosion across an extreme service range of -30 F to 1,800 F (-34 C to 982 C). Mil-Spec 907E compliant.

Applications
Use Permatex Copper Anti-Seize Lubricant on:
- Exhaust manifold bolts, exhaust studs, and turbocharger mounting hardware
- Oxygen sensor and EGT sensor threads
- Spark plugs (where the manufacturer permits anti-seize)
- Lug nuts, brake caliper guide pins, brake rotor hub mating surfaces (per OEM service procedure)
- Battery terminals, electrical grounds, and other contact points where conductivity is desired
- Threaded fasteners exposed to high temperature, road salt, or galling conditions
Apply a thin coating to clean threads. Not for use on plastic, rubber, or surfaces that will contact food. Reduce torque by approximately 20% from dry-thread spec when using anti-seize on previously specified dry threads.
