Injection pressure regulator (IPR) valve for Navistar/International DT466E and DT530E HEUI engines (PAI 480061). Aftermarket replacement for International 1841217C91, controlling high-pressure oil rail pressure to the HEUI injectors that determines fuel-injection rate and timing on these mid-1990s through early-2000s mid-bore HD engines.
Signs You Need a New IPR Valve
- Hard or extended cranking, especially when the engine is hot
- Engine starts and immediately stalls (rail pressure can’t reach injection threshold)
- Rough idle or surging at low rpm
- Loss of power and black smoke under load
- IPR-related diagnostic codes (DTC related to high-pressure oil rail control)
