This handy bracket supports the edge of the quarter panel where your window felt fuzzy attaches. It is very common for your quarter panel to develop a stress crack near the end of the drip rail when this reinforcement is missing. This brace must be welded to the main body pillar and your quarter panel. It is commonly destroyed during 1/4 panel removal or missing from a previous repair.
