This brake shoe kit fits Meritor Q Plus 15 x 4 front and steer axle cam brakes, common on medium-duty and vocational chassis from Freightliner, International, Kenworth, Peterbilt and Mack, including refuse and other vocational bodies.
The 23K figure is the lining friction grade, not an axle rating – a 15 x 4 steer brake is normally fitted to axles rated up to about 14,000 lb. Confirm the FMSI number on the shoe you are replacing before ordering.
