If you are going to install a modern Tremec T-5, TK series or T56 trans you might want to consider upgrading the old loose feeling rod and bellcrank clutch linkage with an easy, smooth feeling modern style cable clutch setup.These kits are installed in less than an hour with basic hand tools.They feature: bolt-in design, firewall reinforcement bracket that connects the booster into the cable system to minimize firewall flex.Support plate is equipped with a tools free adjustment that can be adjusted on the fly.Cable is protected with a heat shield near the exhaust system.They will work with the stock T-5 & TK bellhousings or most aftermarket scattershields with a pull style lever/pivot.Best of all the kit is backed with the manufacturers limited lifetime warranty.Requires bellhousing that uses pull style release lever 7515-10.May interfere with some PB conversions.
