Description
World American WA229859 is a QR-1 quick-release valve with a 3/8 in NPT supply port and two 3/8 in NPT delivery ports, replacing Bendix 229859 / 229859N at the brake-chamber junction. The QR-1 vents the service brake chambers directly to atmosphere when the treadle is released, dropping brake-application time and reducing drag on tractor-trailer combinations.
