1967 – 1992 Camaro Detroit Speed 12.7:1 Ratio Power Steering Box

The Detroit Speed quick ratio steering gearbox provides modern late-model steering performance similar to a rack & pinion with easy bolt-in installation. This steering box can replace the GM/Delphi 800 series or GM/Delphi 600 series power steering box. It has a raw unpainted finish. Upgrade the steering on your 1967 – 1992 Camaro today!

  • New O-ring style power steering hoses are needed – (PN: POW-349) recommended

  • Maximum operating pressure: 1500 psi

Fitment Notes:
This DSE steering box can replace the GM/Delphi 800 series power steering gearbox on 1964–1992 GM vehicles. It is also a direct replacement for the GM/Delphi 600 series box. A steering shaft kit will be needed for 1978–1988 G-Body and 1982–1992 Camaro/Firebird applications (PN: 092519DS). If the vehicle has manual steering, a replacement power steering pitman arm will be needed (PN: SUS-27 for 1967–1969 Camaro & 1968–1972 Nova).A 3/4″ x 30-spline rag joint is required (PN: POW-411). For 1978–81 Camaro/Firebird, a stock replacement 2-3/4″ OD rag joint is needed. Detroit Speed hose kit (PN: POW-349) can be used with this steering box.
