Description
Premium aftermarket replacement torque rod from ATRO. The TR50-42565 is a straight, fixed-length rod measuring 22-1/4 in center to center with straddle mounts on both ends and polyurethane bushings included. Its free-rotation bushing design needs no clocking at install, and it replaces Mack 25164943 on Hendrickson vocational suspensions.
Signs You Need a New Torque Rod
- Visible cracking, tearing or extrusion of the bushing material at the straddle ends
- Audible clunk from the rear suspension on takeoff, when backing, or over bumps
- Axle walk or drive axle misalignment causing rapid irregular drive tire wear
- Driveline vibration from a changed pinion angle
- Loose or elongated 5/8 in bolt holes at either end
- Rod body bent, or the bushing visibly offset in the straddle

Verify the center to center length and bolt hole bore against the rod you are replacing before ordering.
