Description
PAI 845048 is an engine speed / camshaft position sensor for Caterpillar on-highway and industrial diesel engines, replacing CAT 201-6617 / 2016617 and predecessor part numbers 194-5341 and 142-8394. The sensor is a two-wire variable-reluctance type with a rectangular weatherpack connector and 9.50″ overall length, mounted to the timing-gear housing to read camshaft tone-ring position for ignition / injection timing.
