Genuine Delco Remy 61008898 OEM 39MT starter motor for 2016-and-newer Detroit Diesel DD13, DD15, and DD16 GHG17 engines with the 150-tooth ring gear. This new 12V starter delivers 7.3 kW through an 11-tooth pinion with integrated over-crank protection, Smart IMS technology, and electrical soft-start that prevents tooth abutment damage. Delco Remy is the original-equipment supplier on Freightliner Cascadia and Western Star chassis.
