Removing and replacing the Duramax fuel rail pressure sensor switch on2006 – 2010 LBZ & LMM diesel engines is difficult using standardwrenches and sockets. The sensor is mounted on the right fuel railunder the EGR Cooler. Using conventional wrenches and sockets, a techneeds to remove the EGR cooler and heat shield(s) to gain access to thesensor. Schley’s specially designed wrench allows access withoutremoving the EGR cooler and heat shields. R&R service times can bereduced by up to 1 hour using this wrench.
