Facet CM Series coalescer cartridges offer the finestperformance available. This line of high flowcoalescer cartridges removes ultra-fine solids andenhances separation of water from jet fuel.
The Facet coalescer separator housings equippedwith CM Series coalescer and companion separatorcartridges have been tested and fully qualifiedto EI 1581, Fifth Edition, for category “M”, in bothvertical and horizontal orientations.
Built for balanced fluid flow-thru and structuralstrength, each CM Series coalescer cartridge is asingle piece construction of various combinedmedia, precisely arranged in many layers andpleats, wrapped around a coated, perforated metalcenter tube- all encased in an outer sock material.All are 6 in. OD (152mm) by 3.5 in. ID (89mm) andavailable in standard interchangeable nominallengths in increments from 11.25 in. (290mm) to57.25 in. (1450mm).
The CM Series 5 colaescer cartridges are availablein two cartridge mounting styles; self-centering rodmount and screw base. The rod mount style hastreated metal end caps, while the screw base endsare injection molded, glass-filled nylon. This screwbase material offers superior strength and ease ofmaintenance- uniform threads, no shrinkage, nogalling and no gasket recover.
A permanently affixed Buna gasket seals against theV-type knife edge mounting adaptor to provide apositive seal. It will not separate from the cartridgeduring installation or change out.
