Description
Genuine Freightliner OEM low air pressure switch (FSC1749-2134) used in the dash air-cluster warning circuit on Freightliner heavy-duty trucks. The normally-closed contacts open at 2–6 PSI to drive the low-air buzzer and disable cruise control before the supply tank can drop into an unsafe range. Crosses to Freightliner 17492134, PAI 740250, and Automann 577.46604.
Signs You Need a New Low Air Pressure Switch
- Low air warning buzzer sounds intermittently with normal system pressure
- Cruise control kicks off unexpectedly or will not engage
- Audible air leak from behind the dash near the switch cluster
- No low air warning activation when pressure actually drops below safe levels
