Description
PAI 642024 is an 8-pack of aftermarket ECM mounting isolators for the Detroit Series 50 and Series 60. Each isolator replaces Detroit Diesel 23512307 / 23502879 — the rubber-and-steel grommet that lives between the ECM heatsink and the chassis bracket and absorbs engine vibration before it reaches the control module. One ECM uses eight isolators, so this pack covers a complete ECM mount refresh on a Series 60 11.1L, 12.7L, or 14.0L truck or a Series 50 transit application.
Signs You Need New ECM Mounting Isolators
- Visible cracking, crumbling, or oil-soaked rubber on the existing isolators during inspection
- ECM housing sits cocked or shifted on its bracket, or fasteners feel loose with no torque holding
- Intermittent ECM faults, no-start events, or sensor codes that move when the harness is wiggled
- Excessive vibration felt at the ECM during idle or under load
