Description
Premium aftermarket replacement inlet NOx sensor from PAI Industries. The 650625 is the upstream sensor, mounted before the SCR catalyst, that measures NOx concentration entering the aftertreatment system on Detroit DD13, DD15 and DD16 engines. It replaces Detroit Diesel A0101531928, has an M20 x 1.5 thread and a 17 in lead, and is sold new with no core charge.
Signs You Need a New NOx Sensor
- Check engine or malfunction indicator lamp with SCR efficiency faults
- Active NOx sensor fault codes, commonly SPN 3216 or SPN 3226
- DEF over-dosing or under-dosing
- Staged engine derate, in severe cases down to 5 mph

Verify fitment with your VIN or engine serial number before ordering. This is the INLET (upstream) sensor. The OUTLET sensor is Detroit A0101532328 and is a different part — the two are not interchangeable, and fitting the wrong one will not clear the fault. This is a new sensor with no core charge; the Detroit remanufactured equivalent RA0101531928 does carry a core. Clear codes and allow the system to relearn after installation.
