Offset is the distance from the starter mounting surface to the engine side of the ring gear (see diagram).Fits 4.084diameter block plate.The applications listed are original listings.We have found some mixing has occurred over the years.Check your measurement before ordering.Typically the offset Ford starter is used on M/T with 157 or 160 tooth flywheels and all A/T (157, 160 or 164 tooth flexplates).
