Description
The Delco Remy 8200308 is a new 12-volt 39MT heavy-duty starter motor built for Class 8 on-highway trucks and severe-service applications produced from roughly 1985 through 2008. It is the standard starter for Caterpillar 3406, 3176, and C10 through C16 engines; Cummins L10, M11, N14, ISM, ISX, and Signature; Detroit Diesel Series 60; Mack E7 and EM7; Volvo VED12; and Ford L-series diesel engines, with SAE 3 mounting, an 11-tooth 6/8-pitch pinion, clockwise rotation, and 7.3 kW (9.78 HP) cranking power. Integrated over-crank protection, electrical soft-start technology, and a rotatable flange make it a direct service replacement wherever the older Delco Remy 8200090, 8200091, 8300009, or 8300019 was previously specified.
