Description

Premium aftermarket replacement oil pan from PAI Industries. The 441173 is a baffled black-finished steel rear-sump pan with 18 quart capacity for International and Navistar 444 and T444E 7.3L engines from 1995 to 2003, replacing Navistar 1830836C91. It ships with both the drain plug and the pan gasket included.

Signs You Need a New Oil Pan

  • Oil dripping or pooling from the lowest point of the engine, heaviest right after shutdown
  • Visible impact damage — a dent, crease or gouge from road debris or bottoming out
  • Stripped or leaking drain plug threads that a new sealing washer will not stop
  • Rust-through, pinholes or weeping at the lowest seam or drain boss
  • Pan flange no longer flat, with elongated bolt holes, so a fresh gasket leaks again within days

This part replaces or is equivalent to the following part numbers:

Applications

This oil pan fits engines found in:

  • International and Navistar 444 and T444E 7.3L, 1995–2003
  • Medium duty International chassis and bus applications with the T444E

Verify fitment with your engine serial number and sump configuration before ordering. This pan is for the 444 / T444E 7.3L only — it does NOT fit the DT466 or DT530, which use PAI 441171. Navistar 1830838C91 is the other 7.3L pan and is PAI 441172, so match your existing OEM number rather than the engine displacement alone.
