The Tramec Sloan 31402 is a Quick-Fix field repair kit for 3/8-inch rubber air brake hose. The kit reattaches a damaged hose end without crimping or special tooling, restoring service in minutes for line breaks at the gladhand, fitting, or chafe point. Brass construction with 3/8-inch NPTF swivel threads and pre-sealed installation. Compliant with DOT FMVSS 106 and SAE J1402.

Applications
Field repair of 3/8 in rubber air brake service and supply hose on heavy-duty trucks, tractors, trailers, and dollies. Use anywhere a damaged hose end needs to be cut back and re-terminated with a male NPTF connection.
Allen key (5/16 in hex) is NOT included with the kit. Verify hose ID and inspect remaining hose for chafe damage before installation. Hose must be cut square and clean of contamination before fitting installation.
