Mitsubishi PC1479 is a Diamond Gard 12V, 5.5 kW gear-reduction starter from Mitsubishi Electric — the OEM starter on Kenworth and Peterbilt Class 8 chassis, factory-fit on Caterpillar C9 through C15 (including ACERT) and Cummins ISX, ISM, and N14 engines. The 105P Diamond Power was the first gear-reduction Class 8 starter in the North American market and is the industry standard on high start-stop duty cycles. SAE 3-mount, 11-tooth pinion, clockwise rotation. Cross-fits Delco Remy 8200308, Paccar D61-6002-004, and the MELCO catalog number M009T71479.
